The introduction and use of aggressive methods of treatment of malignant neoplasms of the maxillofacial region suggests a high incidence of complications in the oral cavity that occur during treatment in the near and long term [2, 8, 14, 23] Complications of antitumor treatment reduce the quality of life of patients and increase the risk of life-threatening complications. Minimizing risk factors in preparing a patient for treatment is a very important task and requires the joint participation of related specialists as part of an interdisciplinary team (oncologist, dentist, nutrition specialist, psychologist, etc.).
