Relevance. Bone deficiency and complications associated with previously installed implants are a major concern for dental practitioners. One of the most predictable methods of bone augmentation is the use of autogenic bone blocks. Description of the clinical case. Patient H., 52 years old, complained of difficulty chewing food and discomfort in the area of implants installed more than two years ago in a third-party clinic. Cone-ray computed tomography (CBCT) revealed a fracture of the implants in the dental area 3.6 and 3.7. It was decided to remove the broken implants, perform bone augmentation using an autogenous bone block obtained with a trepan with a diameter of 6 mm from the retromolar region, and install new implants. Additionally, soft tissues are plastered using a free connective tissue graft from the maxillary tubercle.Results. On the control CBCT, implants and a fixed bone block were visualized in the correct orthopedic position. After 3 months, a satisfactory condition of soft tissues was noted without pathological changes; the bone block took root, the implants withstood a load of 35 N (Newtons) and were prepared for prosthetics. Conclusion. The use of autologous bone block allowed to restore bone volume and ensure reliable placement of implants in the correct position, which confirms the high clinical effectiveness of this method.
