Итоги круглого стола экспертов по проблеме “Связь стоматологического и общего здоровья”

В данной статье автор делает ревью состояния вопроса взаимосвязи и общности патогенетических механизмов развития воспалительных заболеваний пародонта и ряда соматических заболеваний, таких как сердечно-сосудистая патология, сахарный диабет и др. Также большое внимание уделено обоснованию поддержания здоровья полости рта с точки зрения снижения риска развития ишемической сосудитистой патологии и предотвращения  развития тяжелых осложнений у пациентов с сахарным диабетом.

In this article author is reviewing a well established nowadays relation and common path ways of periodontal inflammatory diseases and some somatic pathologies such as cardiovascular disorders, diabetes mellitus etc. On the spot of attention is the justification to maintain a good oral health in order to avoid or decrease the risk of an onset or further progress of those systemic pathologies that have the inflammation as the main mechanism that causes further morphological changes.
