Хирургические осложнения скуловой имплантации и пути их профилактики

Использование скуловых имплантатов с целью протезирования пациентов является еще одной альтернативной методикой при выраженной атрофии верхней челюсти. Применение данной методики не исключает возможности развития различных осложнений. Основная цель этой статьи - анализ наиболее часто встречающихся  хирургических осложнений, связанных с использованием скуловых имплантатов.

The use of zygomatic implants in the prosthetic rehabilitation of the patient is another alternative, with severe maxillary bone atrophy. However, the patients with edentulous atrophic maxilla treated using this technique may present serious complications that could put the prosthetic restoration at risk. The main objective of this review is to analyze and describe the most frequent surgical complications associated with the use of zygomatic implants.
