Аннотация
Последние годы отмечены появлени-ем новых разнообразных видов химиоте-рапевтических средств для местного при-менения в полости рта. Вслед за много-численными антисептическими средства-ми, которые испытывались на антибакте-риальное действие сто лет тому назад [1], пришли современные препараты, препят-ствующие росту зубной бляшки.

До недавнего времени профессиона-лы со скептицизмом относились к утверж-дениям фирм-изготовителей жидкостей для полоскания рта и зубных паст об анти-бляшковом и антигингивитном действии их продукции. Считалось, что такие сред-ства обладают слишком кратковременным действием и поэтому неэффективны.
