Височно-нижнечелюстной сустав — парный сложный и уникальный сустав зубочелюстной системы. Ежегодно в медицинском, в частности в стоматологическом, сообществе обсуждаются перспективы развития диагностических и лечебных протоколов заболеваний ВНЧС. Пропорционально сложности строения сустава возникают и трудности в диагностике, планировании и лечении пациентов. Современные методы обследования, такие как конусно-лучевая компьютерная томография, магнитно-резонансная томография, ультразвуковое исследование — подробные и точные методы диагностики состояния ВНЧС.

the temporomandibular joint is a paired complex and unique joint of the maxillofacial region. Every year, the prospects of diagnostics and therapeutic protocols development for TMJ diseases are discussed in the medical community in dental community. As hard the complexity of the joint structures is as it is difficult to arise in the diagnostics and treatment planning of patients. Modern examination methods such as cone beam computed tomography, ultrasound examination are detailed and accurate methods for TMJ status diagnosing.
